According to the good folks at Federal News Radio,the good folks at Google (and they are good, great even! and yes this blog resides in their domain so I will say nice things about them) have some bots crawling their blog servers, scanning for inappropriate or un-secure posts, and deleting them. While the intention was probably good, it seems those spic-n-span bots have been a little too zealous in their efforts and have scrubbed away some perfectly acceptable posts along with the chaff.
I do believe that some posts of mine were scrubbed and deleted, dammit. I don't blog much so I didn't really notice until I happened to look at it today after hearing the story this morning.
